Cleaning Up and Preparing for THC-O
Our THC0 distillate has many uses. Use to make your own products! Before getting started, make sure that you have a clean work surface such as a silicone mat. You will also want to wear gloves while working with the THC-O oil. Also, have a high percentage of alcohol on hand for cleaning. THCO is extremely sticky. Do your best to not get the hemp distillate on anything not intended; Clean up any spills as soon as you can to avoid sticking and spreading to other locations. Should you get Distillate somewhere and find it hard to clean up, you have a few choices. In addition to cleaning the thc oil with alcohol, you can use a hard metal scraper to scrape the distillate off any flat surface. If you are still having a hard time, you a hairdryer on the surface until the HD-THC8 becomes more liquid and then use the alcohol to wipe it away.
Getting Distillate Out of the Bottle
At room temperature, THCO is not as hard as Delta 8 and is much easier to get out of the bottle. If you are having trouble, you will need to heat the distillate to get it out. Never heat the bottle with an open flame as it may cause the glass bottle to break. If you do not have a warming tray, you can heat water up in a coffee cup in the microwave or on the stove for several minutes until it’s boiling hot. Then, put the bottle with the cap on, in the warm bath. Keep the distillate in the water until it is liquid. Then you can dispense the THC distillate as needed by simply pouring out the desired amount.
You may also choose to use the included glass syringe and blunt tip needle to remove the liquid once it is warm. When the distillate is warm, you can easily get the distillate into the syringe. When you are down to the bottom of the bottle it may be difficult to get the last drops out of the bottle. You can use the blunt tip needle to get to the bottom of the THCO distillate, or if you only have the syringe, take the Luer lock off the syringe to get the remainder of the distillate.
You can also use a hairdryer to get the remaining distillate out of the bottle. Heat the bottle with the hairdryer until the THC-O is warm, then pour out as needed. Be careful not to burn yourself as the bottle may get hot.
What is THC-O Acetate and how will I feel?
Most people who use cannabis will know what CBD and marijuana (Delta-9) feel like. A few less know about Delta-8. THC-O is one of the new kids on the block and is quickly gaining in popularity. Its unique features may surprise even long-time users of cannabis.
THC-O Acetate, THC-O for short (not THC0), is an acetylated form of THC. THC-O is a prodrug – meaning research has indicated that molecules of THC-O remain inactive until it breaks down in the body through a metabolic process.
Some companies will say that THC-O is 3x stronger than THC. While this may be true for Marijuana THC-O, this is not the case for Hemp THC-O. However, many users still experience some slight psychoactive effects. This includes increased visuals and sound.
